Designed by Paolo Vernier and crafted in Italy, the chair features a continuous structure of extruded aluminum tubes that elegantly shape the legs, armrests, and backrest. A stainless steel frame supports the seat, creating a harmonious balance between visual lightness and structural durability. The seat is engineered with harmonic steel springs and non-deformable foam padding to ensure lasting comfort and support, while the fully upholstered frame provides a soft and refined tactile experience. Paolo Vernier is a talented furniture designer with a long history of creating iconic products. He is the founder of the prestigious, successful company, Midj, in 1988. Born in 1946, Venier has been designing chairs from a young age, and he has honed his craft in the years since. He experiments with techniques and travels a lot to inspire his designs.
His furniture pieces feature clean lines and elegant, simple silhouettes. Because of the minimalistic designs, they pair well with various other products and form a cohesive finishing look. Thanks to his incredible attention to detail and ability to combine technology and creativity, his products are built to last.
