Kintsugi Sideboard
The Kintsugi sideboard is a furnishing that boasts its imperfections, finding beauty in them where others would turn away. It is named after the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery in a manner that showcases the piece’s history instead of shielding it. This means that the cracks are on display, just like the veins decorating the facade of this sideboard. Their elegant, asymmetrical qualities imbue incredible character. Behind the doors are glass shelves that are the perfect place for storing and organizing personal effects like dishware. And plants, decor, pictures, and more will look stunning on top.
This sideboard’s doors are ceramic with the kintsugi effect, while the frame is black ash wood. The metal feet are carbone grey with lustrous brass on the ends. It is available in three or four doors. The Kintsugi sideboard is manufactured by Tonin Casa in Italy with incredible attention to detail.
