The award-winning Savio folding office desk from Porada is a modern design marvel. At first glance, it looks like a sleek cabinet; instead of just shelves, the furnishing opens up to reveal a stunning intimate workspace designed just for you. There’s a desk, storage units, and several leather pockets that assist you in staying organized and getting projects done efficiently. Integrated LEDs light the way, and two USB pop-out plugs keep your devices charged. When your tasks are finished, close the doors and revel in the space you’d otherwise fail to achieve with a bulky workspace. Stylistically, a wooden frame interspersed with hard-leather details ensures a look of utter sophistication.
The Savio folding office desk has a Canaletto walnut finish, with natural maple wood for the insert and on the inside. The desk and pockets are invecchiato eco-hard leather; the remaining details and base are matte black metal. It is designed by David Dolcini for Porada and manufactured in Italy with incredible attention to detail.
Designed by
David Dolcini is a renowned Italian designer who grew up in a family full of artisans. He works primarily in industrial design, and his style comes from his family influence and the many places he traveled over the years. After graduating from the Milan Polytechnic in 2004, Dolcini worked as a project manager at Luceplan and then worked as an architect in Shanghai. In 2012, he opened his design firm, which is respected worldwide.
He collaborates with prestigious Italian brands, including Porada. Research and analysis are a big part of his design process, resulting in functional and stylish furniture and other products. His products feature playful geometry, fine details, and durable materials, making them perfect for any modern space.
