Latch Coffee Table
Designed by
In 2006, Italian designers Marco Paolelli and Sandro Meneghello founded the design studio Meneghello Paolelli in Milan. But they go way back from there; both were born in 1979 and attended the Polytechnic University of Milan, where they graduated in 2004. Since then, they’ve established an impressive portfolio that stretches from industrial design to lighting engineering to supplies suitable for both indoor and outdoor environments to goods focused on wellness.
Through a mantra they dub “lateral thinking”, they craft furnishings inspired by other contexts, even ones outside of the design circuit. This openness to other spheres is fundamental to their creative method, as the novel stimuli produce innovation in their products. And experiences studying at schools in London, Paris, and Norway have only further established them as furniture visionaries. Partnering with companies such as Porada, it is evident how skillful the duo is. This skillfulness has translated into various accolades, including multiple Red Dot Design, Design Plus, and ADI Design Index awards.
