Kirk Sofa
The Kirk sofa by Porada offers eternal allure in a modern home. Rigorous in maintaining its classic form, it still manages to surprise by incorporating a modicum of enticing details, including a wooden frame that contrasts wonderfully with the rest of the sofa and undulating sides that dip down to cradle the seat cushions protectively. A pleasure to the eyes, it feels pleasing to the touch, as well, with luxurious upholstery. Incorporation into the living rooms entails endless nights of unbridled relaxation.
Designed by Carlo Ballabio and manufactured in Italy with incredible attention to detail, the Kirk sofa is available in various sizes. Upholstery options include an array of fabrics and leather, and the base comes in wood finishes. Also, the feet are finished in bronze. Please note that this sofa’s backrest cushions and pillows are not included in the price.
Designed by
Carlo Ballabio is an incomparable Italian designer with many years of experience. After graduating from the European Institute of Design in Milan with an Industrial Design degree, he collaborated with many Italian design studios and worked with Paolo Nava. He created the "Escher" coffee table with Alessandro Elli, which was part of the "City of Infinity exhibition." Since 2011, Ballabio has worked as a product development manager and in-house designer for Porada.
His products are works of art and practical addition to modern spaces. He combines form and function, making his pieces timeless options for his clients. By experimenting with contrasting materials and unique silhouettes, the quality and style of his furniture pieces speak for themselves.
