The Quasar metal dining table is a confounding option among a platform of mainstream extension tables. Featuring a remarkable mechanism reminiscent of horological movement typically seen in a clock, the dining table sets the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. To extend the table, pull the discreet lever underneath the table with little effort and have a larger dining space in seconds! It is designed by Donato D'Urbino and Paolo Lomazzi for Naos and manufactured in Italy.
Available in a rectangular or oval shape, the Quasar metal dining table features a customizable metal central synchronized extension with a glass top. With many different metal finishes of its legs, the oval top is available in an array of glass options while the rectangular top can be finished in different glass and ceramic options.
Designed by
Since 1966, Donato D’Urbino and Paolo Lomazzi have been working together designing architecture, objects, scenography, furnishings and urban projects. Until his death in 1991, they worked with the accomplished architect Jonathan De Pas as well and created internationally respected projects.
Focusing on furniture and temporary pieces of architecture, the duo experiments with new innovative techniques and cutting-edge materials. Donato D'Urbino and Paolo Lomazzi have many awards and accolades under their belt, and their work is on display at museums around the world.
