Yak Ottoman
The Yak Ottoman features a lightweight yet durable EPP structure, enhanced with soft foam padding and a removable fabric cover for ease of care and versatility. As part of the Yak collection by MIDJ, it belongs to an innovative modular system composed of two essential elements, seat and back or armrest, which can be effortlessly combined or separated through a practical interlocking mechanism that requires no screws. This intuitive design allows for seamless assembly and endless adaptability.
More than simply furnishing a space, Yak transforms it with every arrangement. Whether placed in a living room, on a terrace, within an intimate nook, or across a spacious outdoor setting, it brings a consistent sense of harmony and thoughtful design. The ottoman can be paired with other pieces from the Yak collection to create limitless configurations, all crafted with the quality and refinement of Italian manufacturing.

The award-winning Nicola Bonriposi is a talented designer who is respected around the world. He graduated from the Politecnico of Milan with bachelor's and master's degrees in Industrial design. While still in school, he freelanced with an array of companies to gain experience while simultaneously working with MrSmith studio to hone his craft. The results are astounding because he now works with an array of prestigious brands creating products for the furniture sector that are stunning and practical.
His products are geometrically inspired, sculptural, and full of functional appeal. He collaborates with Midj, Extremis, and more. Currently, he lives in Belgium and works for DWDW Studio. Bonriposi is always looking to challenge himself and reinvent his way of doing things, which includes experimenting with various materials.
