Planum Dining Table
Designed for contemporary living, Planum is a table developed on a solid wood frame, designed to accentuate the unique wood grain. A product of the creativity of Studio Pastina, the Planum dining table combines classicism and freshness, essentiality and refinement. Planum is a versatile and transformative table: it takes on a rigorous identity by choosing ceramic or glass tops or a warmer identity with wooden or marble tops.
Planum dining table has a four-legged base and stained ash wood structure. Available with square or rectangular tops of different dimensions in ash veneered wood, glass, crystalceramic or marble. This Midj table is made in Italy to ensure its quality and construction.
Designed by
Domenico Santoro and Francesca Puddo are the iconic design duo behind the successful Studio Pastina. Established in 2012, Santoro and Puddo started this design firm after working together for years and collaborating with many prestigious furniture companies and architectural studios. Both went to "La Sapienza" University in Rome, where they got their degrees in industrial design and interior architecture. Because of their versatile experience and schooling, Studio Pastina works on architectural projects, product design, and interior design. In addition, they work with large companies, such as Midj, private clients, and galleries.
Studio Pastina's products are geometrically inspired and timeless. Many of their chairs, tables, sofas, and decor feature a combination of clean lines, sharp angles, and gentle curves. They are built to last for the long haul, thanks to the manufacturer's incredible attention to detail. Studio Pastina is an award-winning design firm and a nominee of the German Design Award 2020.
