Inspired by altane, the traditional Venetian roof terraces conceived as sheltered spaces for gathering and repose, the design balances lightness and structure with effortless sophistication. Taut, tapered lines and subtly projecting volumes create a linear, contemporary silhouette, while visually soft cushions introduce a welcoming sense of comfort, enhanced by the exceptional quality of the materials used.
Designed by Monica Armani for LAGO and crafted in Italy, the Altana Sectional Sofa with Chaise is distinguished by its sculptural wooden legs with an ovoid profile, intersecting the base at a 45° angle to add warmth, material depth, and dynamic visual interest. The sectional is available in left- or right-facing configurations and offered in four sizes to accommodate a range of interiors. Customization options include an optional armrest cushion and a wide selection of fabric and soft leather upholsteries, allowing the sofa to adapt seamlessly to both residential and hospitality settings.
