Ferruccio Laviani is an architect and designer that specializes in both furniture and fashion, working with diverse companies. Because of his immense talents, he is sought after around the world, and he also designs showrooms for added appeal. Laviani is also in charge of artistic direction, communication, setting up exhibitions and events, always with a highly contemporary and recognizable style
As if Laviani wasn't busy enough, he made his debut into the lighting industry with Orbital sculpture-lamp for Foscarini, a brilliant and famous design, along with the matching wall lamp version, called Bit. The term sculpture-lamp describes a lot of his eye-catching and revolutionary designs that fit in well in a modern setting.

- FL/Y is an essentially-styled suspension lamp. The particular transparency of the material and the sheen of the colors recreate the idea of a soap bubble, shimmering iridescently in the light. The shade is not perfectly hemispherical, with the cut-off falling just below the level of the diameter, offering a greater concentration of light. The lamp is available in three different sizes: Fl/Y, Small Fl/Y, and Big Fl/Y.
