Polifemo Bookcase
The Polifemo Bookcase is a sculptural furnishing designed to inhabit contemporary spaces with bold elegance. Taking its name from the mythical one-eyed giant Polyphemus, the singular large circular opening created by the frame is reminiscent of a central “eye”. The matte lacquered metal structure is striking yet minimal, while the lacquered wooden shelves match the frame’s finish. This bold silhouette and unified palette make the Polifemo bookcase a distinctive and functional statement piece for modern homes.
Designed by Andrea Lucatello and crafted in Italy, the Polifemo Bookcase is part of a curated collection that includes table, consoles, and coffee tables. This bookcase features four suspended shelves and one final shelf in the base. The shelves and frames come in matching finishes.
