Nelson Bed Quickship
The Nelson bed by Cattelan Italia makes a fantastic central focal point in a contemporary bedroom. The minimalistic design fits in well with the rest of the modern furnishings while still standing on its own in style. Thanks to the combination of curved accents and clean lines, it creates a one-of-a-kind, sturdy structure that will last for years and years. The upholstered headboard is soft to the touch, offering comfort when sitting up to read or watch TV.
Designed by Andrea Lucatello for Cattelan Italia and manufactured in Italy, the Nelson bed is available in standard king and queen sizes and includes hidden front legs that make it appear floating. The quick ship version has a Canaletto walnut curved frame and an upholstered headboard in eco-leather.

Andrea Lucatello is an accomplished industrial designer who's accolades include “Skylab” writing board, “Origami,” “Wing Chair” and “Letto Rialto” special mentions in prestigious design communities. With specialized knowledge in the processing of designs thanks to his eclectic professional background, Lucatello's designs are unique and revolutionary.
Lucatello lives and works in Treviso and in 2010, he won Top 10 2001 award at the International Chair exhibition. His designs have a playful use of geometry that makes them noteworthy in a contemporary setting.
