The Brik Two-Sided Sofa, designed by Martina and Massimo Castagna for Bonaldo, is a bold interpretation of 360 degree accessible seating, offering flexibility, style, and comfort in equal measure. Part of the Brik collection that includes an armchair, pouf as well as traditional sectional, this distinctive sofa is manufactured in Italy and designed to be admired and used from every angle.
Entirely upholstered in an array of fabrics and leathers, the Brik Two-Sided Sofa is ideal for open-plan layouts, basements, bar area as well as in commercial settings like chic hotel lobbies and swanky restaurant lounges. Functioning beautifully as a central piece, Brik two-sided sofa epitomizes geometry and visual scale, complemented by plush seat and back cushions made from high-density polyurethane foam, ensuring comfort and support.
Available in both left- and right-facing configurations, the Brik two-sided sofa comes standard with low-profile black wood feet (1½" height), with a taller 3" option available upon request for an elevated look.
Designed by
Massimo Castagna is a successful architect and designer who is globally respected. As a graduate of the Milan Politecnico in 1984, he learned to hone his craft and has gained a stellar reputation. His long, sustainable career includes architecture projects in the residential and commercial space, interior design, and product design in the furniture sector. Collaborations include various Italian companies, such as Tonelli, Flou, Acerbis, Rossana, and more.
His furniture and decor pieces are sleek and geometrically inspired. Many products are sculptural and artistic and make a grand impression in modern settings. In addition to being an architect and designer, Castagna also does consultancy and art direction.
