The Sequel Studio Office Workstation expands the adaptability of modern workspace design through a refined balance of function and architectural clarity. Designed by Matthew Weatherly for BDI, this workstation builds upon the thoughtful design language of the Sequel Studio collection. Conceived as a companion to the Sequel Studio 6617 Multifunction Cabinet, the 6612 Return Desk introduces additional work surface while maintaining the collection’s clean, composed aesthetic. Each element is carefully proportioned to support evolving workspace needs without adding visual complexity, allowing offices to grow while preserving a cohesive and sophisticated environment.
When paired with the multifunction cabinet, the 6612 return creates a streamlined and highly functional workstation that seamlessly integrates printer support and secure storage within a unified footprint. Crafted from satin-etched tempered glass, powder-coated steel, and durable engineered surfaces, the piece reflects the collection’s refined material palette and precision engineering. The result is a workspace solution that balances modern elegance with everyday practicality, offering a versatile and polished foundation for contemporary office interiors.

Matthew Weatherly is known for his practical yet eye-catching modern designs that are influenced by Danish style. Associate Design Director at BDI, Weatherly is an award-winning talent who studied Scandinavian design, architecture, and woodworking at Denmark’s Design School and holds a degree in Industrial Design from Pratt Institute.
Weatherly is well respected in the designing field and uses as little materials as possible without sacrificing any function and quality. His focus is on office and home furniture that fit in well in any setting. Innovative and revolutionary, he is inspired by his love of nature.
